A leading financial services company in South Africa is looking for an experienced business development manager to drive lead growth and build new agency partnerships. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in sales, particularly in banking or real estate, and demonstrate exceptional relationship management skills. The role involves achieving sales targets, attending key industry events, and presenting products to clients to expand the customer base.
5 + years’ business development/sales experience
Previous banking (home loans) and/or real estate experience and existing relationships with industry, i.e. real estate agents, attorney PROs, Portal Relationship Managers, etc., essential
Proven track record of outstanding sales performance in a multi-product environment
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets by driving lead growth in existing agency partner channels, and sourcing new agency partners channels to build your customer base
Represent ooba at regional customer conferences, regional meetings and industry events
Be visible and active in the market place
Deliver product and service presentations across all potential avenues to grow lead base
Attend agency meetings to inform and upskill agents on new products and other value adding services
