Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Childminder to provide exceptional home-based childcare in Rustenburg, South Africa. The role focuses on a safe, loving environment, fostering social, emotional, and physical growth while delivering engaging activities and regular parent updates.

The ideal candidate has experience in childminding, knowledge of early childhood development, First Aid/CPR certification, and registration with the relevant body. Remote administrative tasks may be included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childminding or similar childcare role.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a stimulating and secure learning environment.
• Registered or willing to register with the relevant regulatory body.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a home-based setting.
• Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care at all times.
• Prepare healthy and balanced meals and snacks for the children.
• Maintain open and regular communication with parents regarding their child\'s progress and daily activities.
• Manage the daily operations of the childminding service, including administrative tasks that may be handled remotely.
