Job summary

CompleteTalent (Pty) Ltd is seeking a registered SACPCMP Safety Officer for a 3-month contract in Touws River. You will manage health, safety, and environmental aspects of a substation construction project. Key responsibilities include implementing safety plans, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with Eskom's safety standards. The role requires at least 2-3 years of relevant experience and a valid SACPCMP registration. Accommodation and transport to the site are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid SACPCMP registration as a Safety Officer is required.
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in substation or high-voltage electrical construction projects.
• Proven experience with safety standards specific to Eskom.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project-specific HSE plan.
• Administer the Permit to Work system including isolation procedures.
• Supervise high-risk tasks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and lead incident investigations.
• Maintain compliance documentation and HSE reports.
