Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly experienced High Value Consulting Sales Executive to drive new business growth through the successful closure of large deals.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working for a large consulting firm and will be able to leverage their industry knowledge and expertise to identify and pursue new opportunities for the company.
The candidate should have strong acumen in unpacking complex client challenges, with the ability to deliver compelling, well-defined propositions leveraging modern technology.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and executing a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and positioning the company's solutions as a value-add.
- Leading the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring all key stakeholders are involved in the process.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing, delivery and finance, to ensure successful delivery of projects and customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining a high level of industry and market knowledge to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, or a related field.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development and sales, with a focus on large deal closure.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working for a large consulting firm, with a strong track record of success in generating new business.
- Minimum of 5 years experience leading key accounts at a sponsor and Steer Co-level.
Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of strategic consulting engagements applied to key industries (notably Telco, Mining, Manufacture, Smart Buildings, Utilities), including understanding of key players, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies, including pipeline management, forecasting, and deal closure strategies.
- Knowledge of business operations, financial management, and project management methodologies.
Skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to C-level audiences.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to build consensus and influence key decision-makers.
- Proven track record of successful sales performance and large deal closure.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex business challenges.
