Curro Woodhill College in Pretoria seeks a qualified English HL Teacher for the FET phase to commence duties in January 2027. The role involves delivering the English curriculum, supporting learner development and coordinating assessments within the Curro framework.

The ideal candidate holds a BEd and/or PGCE in FET with honours, has at least 3 years’ experience, and is familiar with the IEB curriculum, strong planning and communication skills, and willingness to work required hours including

Qualificações

• BEd and/or PGCE in FET phase education, with an honours degree in education advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an FET phase teacher.
• Knowledge of the IEB curriculum.
• Proven facilitation, problem-solving and report-writing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform teaching duties, including planning lessons and setting up workbooks.
• Set up and monitor term plans, considering exams and differentiated learning needs.
• Create baseline assessments and advise on subject choices and remedial work.
• Plan and manage the classroom, assessments and homework, including moderation.
• Plan and manage extramural activities and outings.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring support and extra lessons.
