Overview

A Snapshot of Your Day^*: As a Heavy Lift Technician at Siemens Gamesa, your day will involve performing major component exchanges and maintenance tasks on wind turbines across various sites.

You will be part of a dedicated service team, executing mechanical, electrical, and lifting operations.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will require troubleshooting, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while collaborating with subcontractors and other team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Technical School Degree in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
• Demonstrable experience in heavy lift operations; minimum 5 standard replacements (gearbox, generator, transformer) and 3 complex replacements (main shaft, rotor down).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the wind industry.
• Fluent in English and proficient with computers, MS Office, and notepads.
• High commitment to quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
