A leading health services provider in Johannesburg is seeking a professional Service Consultant to engage clients in a fast-paced environment. The role involves resolving queries and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates must have a National Senior Certificate and preferably 1-2 years' experience in customer service. This is a temporary position with a contract ending on 28 February 2026.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a call or contact centre service environment is essential.
  • Exposure to the medical scheme industry is preferred.
  • Driver's license is advantageous.

Job description
SUMMARY :

We’re looking for a professional, well-groomed and spoken individual to join the Westonaria team as a temporary Service Consultant . Based 100% on-site , you will be required to step into a fast-paced role within an industry-leading health business. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients’ lives.

This contract will start immediately and end on 28 February 2026.

POSITION INFO :
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
  • National Senior Certificate is essential ( with English and Mathematics / Maths Literacy results all above 50%)
  • A relevant business-related qualification is highly advantageous
  • 1-2 years of experience in a call or contact centre service environment is essential
  • Exposure to the medical scheme industry of preferred
  • Language proficiency in English and either Sotha, Setswana or Xhosa is essential
  • A Driver's license is advantageous
  • Computer literacy (MS 365 - Word, Excel and Outlook) proficiency is essential
RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Engage with clients and / or intermediaries through various servicing channels (inbound calls, emails, walk-in interactions, etc.) in a professional manner to resolve all client queries within the Service Level Agreement and quality standards.
  • Take ownership of complaints and ensure they are resolved effectively and promptly.
  • Provide clients with the relevant information and documentation as required in line with policy guidelines.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service excellence whilst meeting timescales.
