Empact Group is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee daily healthcare cleaning operations in our Cape Town facility. You will lead cleaning staff, ensure compliance with infection control standards, and maintain a sanitary environment for patients, staff and visitors.

You will train staff, monitor performance, keep records, and collaborate with facility management to address concerns. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Matric / equivalent.
• 2-3 years of healthcare cleaning or environmental services experience, with at least 1 year in supervision.
• Knowledge of infection control practices, healthcare cleaning regulations, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in healthcare cleaning or environmental services preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff, assign tasks, monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control standards.
• Inspect patient rooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces for cleanliness.
• Train new cleaning staff on techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, equipment maintenance, and supplies.
• Collaborate with facility management to address cleaning concerns.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to share updates and promote teamwork.
• Monitor staff attendance and adherence to policies.
