HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

Hours: 30 hours / week (part‑time)

Salary: £25,694 - £27,900 per annum, pro‑rata

Holiday: 35 days per annum (including public holidays) pro‑rata

Shift pattern: 12‑hour shifts - Day (07.30–20.00), Night (19.30–08.00)

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

What you’ll be doing…

Reporting to the Senior Nurse, you can expect your working day to include the following:

• Support the nursing and wider multi‑disciplinary team, to provide excellent holistic, patient‑centred palliative care.
• Be part of a highly skilled and driven team including nurses, doctors, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, social worker, chaplain and volunteers.
• Daily duties supporting patients with their physical and emotional needs.
• Assisting with personal care, toileting, bathing, dressing and meals.
• Working within a friendly, dynamic, positive and vibrant environment.
