A leading food distribution company in Cape Town is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to oversee the health and safety performance at its Manufacturing and Distribution centre. Candidates must have a tertiary qualification in Health and Safety Management and at least 2 years of managerial experience in a Warehouse environment. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. This is a full-time, on-site position with a flexible schedule.

HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER

Location : - Airport Industrial Park This position will be based at our Coastal Meat Distribution Centre in Airport Industrial Park 2, Cape Town and will report directly to the Dc Manager.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a responsible Health and Safety Manager who will ensure the Health and Safety peformance of our Manufacturing and Distribution centre.

To protect our colleagues and members of the public from harm by developing safe systems of work and to prevent accidents and ill health.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary Qualification in Health and Safety Management
• Minimum of 2 year experience in a Health and Safety work environment in a managerial role in a Warehouse environment
• Capable of multi-tasking and professionally interacting with others in a fast-paced- work environment
• MS Word, Excel

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Comply with health and Safety legislation
• Accountable for health and safety performance
• Establish health and safety standards in the Dc
• Ensure safe working procedures are implemented
