Our flagship products include the award-winning HSEC Online® Compliance Management Solution (SaaS) which helps our clients (mainly heavy industry and mining) thrive in the contractor and compliance management space.

We currently have an opportunity available in our South African based offices, in SANDTON or EMALAHLENI (Witbank)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To support the new business development division of our HSEC Online® Compliance Management Solution (SaaS), by

  • identifying large enterprises in need of an effective digital SHE compliance management platform;
  • establishing relationships with such clients;
  • identify the digital compliance requirements of each enterprise, and advise how HSEC Online® can be effectively implemented to assist them with effective contractors and compliance management considering their specific industry;

conclude new business agreements with new clients and guide the effective implementation of HSEC Online® as a tailored solution to meet their operational and regulatory requirements.

MAIN DUTIES
  • Looking into regional trends, market activity, and client needs.
  • Reaching out to potential clients through calls, networking, and general outreach.
  • Setting up and running virtual or in-person meetings to chat through client challenges and show how HSEC Online® might help.
  • Helping get agreements in place so projects can start smoothly.
  • Staying in touch with clients and supporting them throughout their journey.
  • Sharing feedback and ideas to help improve HSEC Online® based on what clients are asking for.
  • Offering HSE-related advice and support when clients need a hand.
MAIN JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or equivalent
  • OR
  • SAMTRAC or NEBOSH (or equivalent HSE qualification)
  • 5-10 Years' HSE experience in the heavy industry sector
  • 3-5 Years' sales experience will be advantageous
  • HSEC Online® experience will be ideal.
  • Good knowledge of ISO systems related to HSE discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety compliance standards relevant to heavy industry
  • In-depth understanding of contractor management processes
  • Proven ability to engage and present effectively at both executive and technical levels
  • Solid business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Strong analytical thinking, systems approach, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with active listening abilities
  • Skilled in negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing key stakeholders
  • Strong customer focus with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated self-discipline, resilience, and tenacity in high-pressure environments
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transport
