The role requires strong leadership, wildlife knowledge, and a guest-focused approach, with readiness to live in a remote lodge environment and uphold conservation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading ranger teams in luxury safari settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of local flora/fauna and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all ranger operations, ensuring safety and guest satisfaction.
• Mentor, train, and supervise ranger staff to foster teamwork.
• Plan and conduct guided game drives and bush walks with professionalism.
• Ensure adherence to conservation practices and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with lodge management to improve operations and guest experience.
• Maintain and manage equipment, vehicles, and resources for readiness and safety.
• Address guest enquiries and feedback courteously.
• Support wildlife conservation programs and strategic planning.
