Job description

Head of Sales/Sales Leader — UK B2B Campaigns (Full Time Office Based Umhlanga, KZN, South Africa-Based)

About The Role

We're looking for a Sales Leader who leads by example — someone who rolls up their sleeves, sets the pace, and inspires others through integrity, accountability, and results. You'll take ownership of our Sales Development team in Umhlanga, leading a group of talented SDRs and team leaders who deliver campaigns for UK-based B2B service companies in technology, insurance, and other sectors.

This is a hands-on leadership role, Full Full-Time Office-Based Role (no remote working). You'll not only manage and motivate — you'll demonstrate. You'll know how to pick up the phone, show what a world-class call sounds like, and empower others to reach that standard. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the sales team, ensuring performance, presence, and pride in every action.

As a key part of the Growth Resourcing leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO, you'll bring emotional intelligence, operational discipline, and a relentless focus on growth — for people, clients, and the business.

Requirements
  • Lead and manage the entire sales team and its team leaders, ensuring activity levels, performance, and outcomes meet and exceed client expectations
  • Own the daily operation of the sales function — implementing systems, structure, and accountability so that every team member consistently turns up, contributes, and performs
  • Lead by example — demonstrate world-class sales skills and coach your team not just by telling, but by showing
  • Inspire through action — be a leader that others respect for your consistency, work ethic, and integrity
  • Collaborate with the Head of Client Services to ensure information, performance data, and client insights are communicated clearly and consistently
  • Provide accurate reporting (with the help of team members) to the Head of Client Services and the GR Board on performance, progress, and pipeline
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent in Durban — individuals who combine drive, discipline, and strong emotional sales intelligence
  • Coach and motivate your team to achieve results that make clients proud, while living our company values every day
What You'll Need To Show
  • Exceptional sales leadership skills - you're someone the team looks up to because of how you act, not just what you say
  • A track record of delivering results through a mix of discipline, consistency, and emotional intelligence
  • Strong operational focus - you know how to run a busy team, manage performance, and maintain high standards day in and day out
  • Hands-on sales ability — you can pick up the phone and demonstrate excellence in real time
  • Deep understanding of emotional sales intelligence — what drives people, how they respond, and how to bring out their best
  • Mental toughness and resilience — you thrive in a fast-moving environment and can take the lead in growing our SDR teams to 50 (over the next 18 months) with people with clarity and composure
  • Elocution must be excellent with strong written English
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience managing SDR or sales teams delivering for UK-based B2B businesses
  • A personal commitment to our values: Learning, Respect, Accountability, Passion, Quality, and Integrity
  • Salary banding (depending on quality and experience) and also indicate there will be a significant quarterly and yearly bonus paid upon results
