Overview

Our client, a leader in logistics, is seeking a Marketing Mastermind to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and brand visibility by developing, implementing and executing marketing and sales strategies.

Location: Cape Town

Job type: Permanent – on site

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new markets and customer segments
  • Establish strategic partnerships and alliances
  • Develop initiatives to grow market share
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Set pricing models that align with value and profit goals
  • Develop and roll out new product / solution offerings
  • Manage brand positioning and ensure brand consistency
  • Lead marketing campaigns to increase global presence
  • Secure speaking engagements, awards, and press coverage
  • Identify trade fairs and coordinate presence
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis
  • Translate trends into actionable insights
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback for strategic input
  • Provide input into product development
  • Track marketing ROI and campaign performance
  • Maximize CRM usage for segmentation and tracking
  • Use data analytics to inform marketing decisions
  • Align with executive team on strategic goals
  • Work closely with product team for market-fit solutions
  • Work closely with Customer Service team to understand needs and wants
  • Mentor and develop high-performing sales and marketing teams
  • Implement sales enablement tools and training
  • Drive accountability and performance through KPIs
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field (essential)
  • Postgraduate qualification (MBA or Marketing specialization) is advantageous
  • 8–10 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership
  • Proven international experience across SA, EU and Middle East
  • Deep understanding of Logistics industry
  • Proven success in revenue generation
  • Strong background in digital marketing and CRM systems
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and market expansion
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or B2B industries is a plus
