You will formulate strategies to acquire, engage, and retain riders, while collaborating across teams to unlock new growth opportunities.
Uber Mobility is seeking an exceptional Head of Rider Growth to lead our Growth Operations across Sub‑Saharan Africa (SSA). As a senior leader within the Growth team, reporting to the GM, SSA, you will be responsible for accelerating rider growth and engagement, and ensuring Uber is the ride‑sharing platform of choice in every city we operate in.
Your mandate will be to design and execute scalable, data‑driven strategies that attract, engage, and retain our riders. This includes expanding our user base, deepening engagement through Uber One and loyalty programs, and building impactful partnerships that unlock new growth levers. You will be accountable for the full growth lifecycle – acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, resurrection – and for driving sustainable topline and bottom‑line growth. This role will require leveraging global learnings and elevating Sub‑Saharan Africa as a region by establishing demand gen principles and driving thought leadership that can be scaled and leveraged in other markets through running XPs to test and learn.
