This senior leadership role will oversee delivery across our portfolio, ensuring quality, rigour, and impact in everything we do.

From shaping strategy to mentoring our team, from leading client engagements to steering the development of our National Education Dashboard, you'll play a pivotal role in driving systemic change.

What you'll do

• Provide strategic oversight of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and with excellence.
• Lead and mentor a talented team of analysts, project managers, and consultants.
• Ensure our work is underpinned by rigorous quality assurance and data-driven insights.
• Build strong partnerships with government, funders, and civil society.
• Contribute directly to high-priority initiatives like the National Dashboard for Performance & Progress in Education.

Who we're looking for

• At least 10 years of experience in consulting, development, or education strategy, including 5 in a senior leadership role.
• A proven track record of managing complex projects and multi-stakeholder teams.
• Strong technical background in data systems, monitoring & evaluation, or education research.
• Experience with dashboards, data visualisation, and quality assurance frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of the South African education ecosystem.
• A values-driven leader who embodies rigour, integrity, synergy, and empathy.
