About the Role

You’ll head up the development and delivery of a national B2B eCommerce and eService platform, designed to support and scale small businesses. This is your chance to drive digital innovation, create access to markets, and help SMMEs thrive across South Africa.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of a cutting-edge B2B platform
  • Oversee platform operations — uptime, performance, security, and scalability
  • Drive platform adoption and user engagement across web and app
  • Build partnerships, onboard third-party providers, and manage SLAs
  • Align with EXCO, Finance, Risk, and Tech to ensure strategic integration
  • Champion customer-centric innovation, UX research, and agile delivery
  • Drive cost optimisation, monetisation strategies, and revenue growth
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, diverse team
  • Monitor platform metrics and continuously improve the value proposition
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Commerce, Marketing, or similar
  • MBA or postgrad qualification preferred
  • Certifications in digital marketing, eCommerce or platform tech advantageous
  • 5+ years in digital / online or commercial leadership roles
  • Team management and cross-functional stakeholder experience
  • Proven ability in platform business models, analytics, and innovation
