Placements24 is recruiting a Head Coach for a premier football academy in Tembisa, Gauteng. This full-time role leads the elite youth development program, shaping training methodologies, talent pipelines and competitive performance.

You will oversee coaching staff, develop a progressive curriculum, and drive player development across age groups, ensuring safety, discipline and high standards in all sessions.

Qualifications

• CAF A License or UEFA A License equivalent is required.
• 8+ years of coaching experience at youth or professional level, with elite development focus.
• Proven success in player development and team performance.
• Deep knowledge of football tactics, training methods and sports science.
• Strong leadership, communication and motivational skills.

About the Role

Our client, a premier football academy located in Tembisa, Gauteng , is searching for a highly experienced and passionate Head Coach to lead its elite youth development program. This critical position involves overseeing all aspects of player development, coaching methodologies, and tactical strategies for our aspiring athletes. The Head Coach will be responsible for nurturing raw talent, fostering a positive and disciplined team environment, and preparing players for higher levels of competition. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, a deep understanding of modern football coaching principles, and a proven ability to inspire and motivate young athletes. This role is based in Tembisa, Gauteng and requires a full-time commitment.

Key Responsibilities
