Job summary

HotelJobs in Hoedspruit is seeking a Head Chef for a luxury lodge. The successful candidate will oversee the daily kitchen operations, design and prepare exceptional menus, and lead the kitchen brigade to ensure top-quality dining.

You will manage stock, control costs, uphold HACCP and health-and-safety standards, handle kitchen administration and reporting, and collaborate with lodge management to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Recognised culinary qualification is required.
• Experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in luxury lodge/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food costing, stock control and kitchen administration.
• Creative flair with a passion for fine dining.
