Job summary

Old Mutual Limited in Johannesburg seeks an HDS and EV Manager to lead the Employee Volunteer Programme and Humanitarian Disaster Support initiatives, aligning them with the Foundation's social impact goals. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in either corporate social responsibility, community upliftment or volunteer programme management.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
• Ability to engage with key decision-makers and policymakers.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to grow employee volunteer participation.
• Align volunteer initiatives with the Foundation’s social investment priorities.
• Monitor and evaluate programme impact and recommend improvements.
• Plan and coordinate staff volunteer activities and events.

• Identify and manage project risks.
• Review existing operations and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvement outcomes.

The role also requires the coordination of disastter relief initiatives with the Old Mutual Group in providing disaster support to communities, when required. The role demands strong program management, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to inspire and mobilize employees across the organization.
