Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in the Hawaiian Studies discipline.
• Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course.
• Prepare course syllabi and reports regarding student progress.

Education

Master’s in Hawaiian Studies

Master’s in Hawaiian language with at least 9 credits of advanced and/or graduate level coursework focused on Native Hawaiian areas

Bachelor’s in Hawaiian Studies and 3 years of related work experience

Master’s degree with at least 15 credits of advanced and/or graduate level coursework focused on Native Hawaiian areas

Master recognition in a specific area of Hawaiian knowledge with 10 years of related work experience
