The Junior Electronic Hardware Design Engineer will specialize in the design, development, and testing of power supplies for LRUs. This role requires a strong technical background and experience in electronic circuit simulation and design as well as the ability to lead the LRU development process from preliminary design through to production.
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate and complete PCB design and routing of Power Supplies of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) according to specifications provided by systems engineer
- Follow the defined electronic hardware design processes and document design according to hardware design plan
- Take part in peer reviews of LRUs
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, DSP, RF and aeronautical teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware LRUs
- Test and validate power supplies designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (DO-160, MIL-STD-704)
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to LRU power supplies design and performance
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronic hardware technologies and apply them to projects
Requirements
- Qualification and / or professional license(s) :
- B. Eng Electric or Electronic, M. Eng Electric or Electronic or similar
- Proficiency in certain applications and / or software
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Altium, LTspice
- Sound knowledge of :
- Schematic design, PCB design, simulation of circuits, analysis of circuits.
- Non-negotiable skills :
- Altium
- LTspice or similar
- Additional information :
- Self motivated individual that can work without guidance, but also work in a group when required
