You will execute tasks related to maintenance while managing subcontractors and assisting students as needed. Experience & Requirements

• Relevant courses or experience in basic handy man skills
• At least 1 year experience in a hotel/hospitality environment
• Must have strong verbal communication skills in English, Afrikaans and preferably a 3rd language
• Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self‑awareness, work ethic, and empathy

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive and execute maintenance from a job – card system
• Assist students with maintenance as and when required
• Manage and assist sub‑contractors onsite
• Be available after hours and on weekends to assist with maintenance issues
• Assist the team with site walks to execute the noise protocol
• Good stock taking and stock management skills
• Operate the maintenance tracking system electronically (phone APP)
• Assist Community function team when required
• Follow operational protocol
