A dynamic automotive battery business in Blackheath, Cape Town is seeking a target-driven Battery Fitment Salesperson. The role merges customer service with sales responsibilities. Ideal candidates will possess a Matric Certificate, a Sales Certificate (NQF5), and up to 3 years’ experience. Responsibilities include generating sales, building client relationships, and marketing activities. Strong communication skills and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years’ experience in a retail sales or automotive fitment environment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Actively generate new sales and close deals to meet set targets.
• Build relationships with clients while managing leads, quoting, and closing.
• Track daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and submit reports.
• Maintain and grow customer accounts.
• Conduct market research and report on competitor activity.
