Our client, a trusted and growing home maintenance and repair company in Bloemfontein, is seeking a proactive and organised Half-Day Administrator / Personal Assistant to join the team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. You will play a key role in supporting the owner with day-to-day administrative tasks, client communication, scheduling, and general office coordination. We’re looking for a reliable individual with strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities with professionalism and initiative.

Minimum requirements
- Matric
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an administrative or personal assistant role
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver\'s license and own vehicle

Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct daily planning sessions with Schalk to prioritise tasks and schedule the day efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients to provide updates, answer queries, and ensure satisfaction
- Arrange and confirm appointments with clients, ensuring timely scheduling of all tasks
- Conduct research to prepare accurate and competitive quotations for clients
- Draft and send quotations to clients promptly and professionally
- Follow up on sent quotations to secure approvals and confirm work agreements
- Schedule and coordinate accepted work, ensuring all resources and personnel are prepared
- Prepare and issue invoices once work has been completed, ensuring accuracy
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to maintain smooth cash flow
- Perform general business administration tasks to support daily operations and office organisation
- Manage advertisements and social media accounts, including updating the company’s Facebook page
- Collect positive client reviews, compile them with photos, and post to promote the company’s reputation
- Order necessary supplies and materials to ensure uninterrupted workflow
- Provide a daily summary of completed tasks and progress to maintain clear records and accountability
Remuneration
R 4 000 - 5 000 Cost to company
Work hours
Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
