Position Summary

We are looking for a polished and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our luxury hotel. The ideal candidate will deliver an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standards of hospitality and discretion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests with warmth, elegance, and professionalism upon arrival.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using advanced property management systems.
  • Anticipate guest needs and personalize service to exceed expectations.
  • Handle VIP arrivals and special requests with discretion and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with concierge, housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Maintain a pristine and inviting front desk and lobby area.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints and feedback with poise and empathy.
  • Process payments, manage billing and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Uphold confidentiality and security protocols at all times.
  • Promote hotel services, amenities and local luxury experiences.
Requirements
  • Matric certificate; diploma or degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g. Opera, Protel or similar).
