Growth Marketing Manager required in Cape Town.
Are you a data-driven growth marketer ready to own and build an SMB lead generation engine? This role focuses on scaling the pipeline of qualified leads for a SaaS platform that helps small e-commerce businesses drive sales, automate conversations, recover abandoned carts, and build customer loyalty via WhatsApp and other channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute multi-channel growth strategies targeting e-commerce SMBs globally.
- Experiment with growth tactics across acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and revenue.
- Optimize self-service product funnels and create event-driven onboarding automations.
- Manage SEO, SEM, and paid social campaigns focused on high-intent keywords.
- Own and optimize app marketplace listings (Shopify, WooCommerce), including ads and reviews.
- Engage with e-commerce communities and potential partners for awareness and referrals.
- Use data-driven experimentation (A/B testing) to improve growth metrics and decision-making.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years in growth marketing, demand generation, or digital marketing with a B2B SaaS focus.
- Proven success marketing to SMBs, particularly in e-commerce ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with content marketing, SEO, paid acquisition, and marketing automation tools.
- Highly analytical with strong expertise in analytics platforms and data-driven decision-making.
- Self-starter with ownership mindset, able to work autonomously and iterate rapidly.
Bonus:
