Overview

Job Title: Groups & Incentives Operations Consultant | Sandton | Luxury African Safari Company

Salary: Negotiable DOE

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Groups & Incentives Operations Consultant to join the team of one of our esteemed clients – a leading luxury African safari company based in Sandton. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with excellent organisational skills and a strong background in travel coordination.

Key Outputs
  • Coordinate and execute land tour programmes and events
  • Support the administrative management of travel files with a focus on operational efficiency and quality control
  • Travel with groups as required and provide on-site coordination
  • Collaborate with Reservations and Operations Managers to ensure profitability and compliance with commercial targets
  • Provide proactive operational support to the Groups & Incentives team
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers while monitoring service levels
  • Liaise with accounts teams to manage debtors and flag potential bad debt
  • Maintain up-to-date information on all confirmed services
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of travel documentation and operating schedules
  • Ensure compliance with country-specific travel restrictions
  • Recommend improvements to guest experiences and service delivery
  • Escalate client or guest complaints promptly to relevant managers and assist in resolution
  • Be on call for emergencies and provide timely updates to clients and managers
  • Assist with special projects and duties assigned by management
Knowledge Required
  • Strong knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, including current trends and destination management
  • Understanding of the company’s operating regions and product offerings
  • Commercial awareness to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Solid understanding of emergency response protocols and risk mitigation
