We’re on a mission to create extraordinary experiences for our customers and we believe your unique skills passion and superdrive are key to helping us achieve that this role you’ll lead the creation and governance of the group’s accounting policy manual ensuring consistency in accounting treatment and disclosures across the organization. You’ll translate complex IFRS standards into clear actionable policies that are easy to apply support audit readiness and help reduce financial reporting risk. Ultimately your work will ensure accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting that strengthens our financial integrity and supports our strategic goals.
Creation maintenance and governance of the group’s accounting policy manual.
Drafting of new accounting policies or revising existing ones based on regulatory changes or internal requirements.
Reviewing IFRS updates and assessing the implications for existing policies.
Maintaining version control and change logs for all policy documents.
Ensuring compliance with accounting regulatory and internal control frameworks.
Supporting automation initiatives by standardizing policy documentation formats and integrating them into reporting tools.
Monitoring changes in accounting standards and assessing implications.
Investigating complex accounting issues raised by business units or auditors.
Manage and draft technical memos and position papers for complex accounting issues.
Review and provide guidance on position papers prepared by the audit and accounting team.
Ensuring technical accounting matters are accurately reflected in the financial statements through clear policy guidance and documentation.
Assisting in the review of the consolidated financial statements to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with IFRS and SEC regulations.
Assisting in the review of supporting consolidation schedules used for the population of primary statements and detailed notes.
Integration of technical accounting matters into financial statement disclosures and ensuring alignment with group accounting policies.
Driving automation of consolidation and reporting processes using available tools and templates.
Conducting workshops and training sessions on accounting policies.
Developing quick‑reference guides and FAQs for policy users.
Ensuring policies are accessible and understandable to non‑technical users.

The necessary skills that we require for this role include :
CA(SA) or equivalent accounting qualification.
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical accounting or policy writing.
Strong understanding of IFRS and regulatory frameworks.
Experience in drafting accounting manuals or technical memos.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Familiarity with SOX Compliance or compliance within a listed environment
Experience working collaboratively in cross‑functional teams with a focus on achieving shared goals.
Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a track record of delivering on time and within scope.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations.
It would be great if you also have some of the following skills :
Hands‑on experience with business and financial software preferred.
MS Dynamics Nav / Business Central.
FloQast IBM Planning Analytics (TM1 / Cognos) and Workiva are a plus.
