Overview
This role focuses on preparing and delivering financial reports to meet group-specific requirements. The Group Reporting Accountant ensures accurate and timely submission of financial data to support group-level decision‑making and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare month‑end reporting packs in line with group standards.
- Compile tax submission packs for group compliance.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for group reporting.
- Generate data sets to support Business Intelligence (BI) reporting.
- Ensure alignment with group financial reporting policies and deadlines.
- Collaborate with group finance teams to address reporting queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- BCOM Honors Post Grad with signed off Articles (3 years)
- Strong understanding of group reporting requirements and IFRS standards.
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools and BI systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.
- Business Central (ERP)
- Power BI (business intelligence reporting)
- MS Excel (must be able to do pivot tables, formulas such as vlookups, sumifs, data cleanup)
- FP&A tools like Anaplan would also be useful.
- Drafting software like Caseware or Draftworx
