Group Marketing Manager

Red Ember Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well‑established client in the hospitality sector for an experienced and commercially driven Group Marketing Manager. This role is based in Woodstock, Cape Town, and hospitality marketing experience will be a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
>Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy encompassing all products and services within the portfolio.
- Align marketing objectives with broader business goals to drive sustainable growth and increased market share.
Agency Management
- Manage and oversee relationships with external marketing agencies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand standards.
- Negotiate contracts, define clear deliverables, and monitor agency performance against agreed metrics.
Operational Efficiency
- Apply an operational mindset to streamline marketing processes and improve workflow efficiency.
- Implement best practices in project management, process optimisation, and resource utilisation.
Budget Management
- Develop, manage, and control the marketing budget across the portfolio.
- Ensure all marketing activities are cost-effective and deliver a strong return on investment (ROI).
- Track expenditure and report on financial performance.
Campaign Planning and Execution
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and events.

Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct ongoing market and consumer research to stay informed on industry, menu, and customer trends, as well as competitor activity.
