A well-established and growing organisation within the food production industry is seeking a Group Financial Manager to join their senior management team.

The role reports directly to the Directors and takes full responsibility for the Group's financial, HR, compliance, tax, and administrative functions.

This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-driven professional who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment and enjoys full financial oversight across multiple entities.

ResponsibilitiesActively participate in cross-departmental operations as needed.Drive continuous process, control, and reporting improvements.Support Directors with strategic planning and risk management.

Qualifications and RequirementsRegistered CA(SA) in good standing with SAICA (CIMA or AGA(SA) considered if experience aligns).

Minimum of 5 years experience as a Financial Manager or Group Financial Manager.Proven track record managing a group of companies with an annual turnover between R million and R million.Advanced Excel and Sage Evolution skills.Strong leadership, planning, and interpersonal abilities.Stable work history – no job hoppers (proof of tenure required).

Excellent communication and analytical skills; high attention to detail, accuracy, and proactive problem-solving.Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Own reliable transport (essential due to semi-rural location).
