Overview

Description/Synopsis: A successful private business, with operations spanning seven companies, is seeking a Group Financial Manager to join their executive team. Acting as a strategic partner to the CEO, you will play a critical role in group-level financial reporting, consolidations, tax planning, and strategic business planning. The position also offers exposure to corporate social responsibility initiatives through its NPO involvement. This role is based in Pretoria East offering a supportive, family-oriented culture, with exposure to a diverse Business portfolio.

Minimum Requirements
  • BCom Honours with completed Articles
  • CA(SA) / CIMA preferred
  • 5 - 7 years Financial Management experience
  • Solid experience at Group level – reporting and consolidations
  • Exposure to NPO finance (advantageous)
  • Experience working with African Countries advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills essential
  • Proven experience in managing a finance team
Responsibilities
  • Prepare group-level reporting and consolidations across 7 companies
  • Partner with the CEO on strategic business and financial planning
  • Lead financial statements, profit & loss, budgets, and forecasts
  • Oversee tax planning and Capex management
  • Manage a small but effective finance team
  • Support NPO financial activities as part of corporate social responsibility
