  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Generate quarterly reports for the Board and Audit & Risk Committee.
  • Monitor adherence to IFRS and enhance accounting policies.
  • Drive digitisation of reporting and forecasting tools.
  • Oversee the consolidated credit control function.
  • Review capital investment proposals and provide financial guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Support the CFO in maintaining robust financial management, controls, and continuous process improvements.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to guide strategic decision‑making at the executive level.
  • Generate quarterly reports for the Board and Audit & Risk Committee, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor adherence to IFRS and lead initiatives to enhance accounting policies, controls, and compliance across the organisation.
  • Drive digitisation of reporting and forecasting tools, streamlining labour‑intensive processes and supporting the company’s digital transformation.
  • Oversee the consolidated credit control function, providing leadership and ensuring alignment with organisational policies.
  • Review capital investment proposals, including IRR calculations, and provide financial guidance to support business strategy and ad‑hoc CFO requirements.
Job Experience & Skills Required
Qualifications
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting qualification
  • Postgraduate accounting qualification, e.g., CA(SA)
Experience
  • Minimum of a university degree in Finance with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Professional accounting designation such as CA(SA) or CIMA is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant finance experience, including exposure to managerial or senior‑level responsibilities.
