This position offers flexibility — ideal for someone with an existing private practice looking for a half-day commitment, or a professional seeking a full-time opportunity within an educational environment.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of learners across multiple campuses in South Africa. The role involves designing and implementing psycho-educational and well-being programmes, providing counselling support, and guiding educators and parents on learner challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify learning or emotional barriers.
• Provide individual and group interventions for learners.
• Develop and monitor wellness and support programmes across schools.
• Train and advise educators and parents on learner wellbeing.
• Ensure compliance with HPCSA and Department of Education guidelines.
• Offer professional support and mentorship to school-based counsellors and interns.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology (essential)
• Registration with the HPCSA as an Educational Psychologist (essential)
