In this exciting role, you'll be a key player in supporting the Financial & Shared Services Lead, with a strong focus on financial accounting and fixed asset management.

You’ll take the lead in optimizing core financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in everything from asset tracking to transactional finance.

Responsibilities
  • Improve and manage fixed asset processes for better efficiency
  • Track asset purchases, depreciation, disposals, and ensure compliance
  • Verify and tag assets, and match them with financial records
  • Provide reports and insights on asset use to support decisions
  • Work with auditors and provide needed asset‑related documents
  • Process financial transactions and make sure they are correctly recorded
  • Help with monthly financial closing by reviewing and posting entries
  • Fix any issues in financial records with help from other departments
  • Put controls in place to reduce financial risks and follow rules
  • Keep accurate records for audits and legal requirements
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting
  • Manage VAT, corporate tax submissions, and related tasks
  • Assist during tax audits and provide needed information
  • Use financial data to support business decisions
  • Liaise closely with the Finance Manager to improve processes
Requirements
  • Qualification: CA(SA) with 2‑3 years post‑articles commercial finance experience
  • Previous experience in a finance operations, general accounting or shared services accounting role
  • Previous exposure to Fixed Asset Management preferred
  • Must have ERP systems knowledge
