Salary: R25 000 per month (excluding bonuses and benefits, depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking amature, creative, and experienced Marketing – Graphic Designer / Social Media Specialistto take full ownership of our company’s visual identity, social media presence, and marketing communications. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experiencein design and digital marketing, with a proven ability to manage brand consistency, create engaging visual content, and execute a cohesive social media strategy.

This position requires a hands‑on individual who can manage all aspects of our marketing design and social media activities — from concept to execution — while maintaining a professional, positive, and relevant brand image across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities
1. Graphic Design & Brand Collateral
  • Design brochures, flyers, and marketing materialsfor clients, highlighting our products, services, and benefits.
  • Create digital and print collateral, including posters, banners, and advertisements
  • Design and update email signatures, letterheads, and other corporate templates.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentationsfor client pitches, internal meetings, and events.
  • Work with external suppliers to create corporate and product videos, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Assist with app page designand layout to ensure visual consistency across digital platforms.
2. Social Media Management
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategyto increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Manage and post regular content on all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Oversee and manage the Director’s LinkedIn pagesand other professional profiles.
  • Monitor social media trends, track performance metrics, and prepare monthly reports on engagement and growth.
  • Respond to online queries, comments, and messages in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with the company’s tone, brand, and marketing goals.
3. Digital Marketing & Communication Support
  • Support the development of email marketing campaignsand newsletters.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messagingacross all digital and print media.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to plan and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and updating of the company website(basic content management).
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the company’s online reputationand visibility.
4. Brand Management
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Uphold the company’s visual identity standards and evolve design templates where appropriate.
  • Keep up to date with design, digital, and marketing trends to ensure the company remains relevant and competitive.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years’ proven experiencein Graphic Design and Social Media Marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro/After Effects a plus).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms(LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.) and their best practices.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
  • Experience managing corporate social media accountsand reporting on analytics.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, SEO, and paid social campaigns is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Mature, professional, and self-driven, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
