The Team: You will be part of our established Group Marketing Team, sitting at the centre of all things SCG.

You will have a special focus on our X-on Health Business Unit, whose mission is at the very heart of improving the infrastructure of the UK primary healthcare sector.

The Purpose

We are looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our X-on Health team.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for design and the ability to turn concepts into visually compelling materials across digital and print media.

You will be supported by the wider Group Marketing Team and will work closely with our Graphic Design Manager and brand guardian.

The Role

A typical week will be a dynamic mix of creativity, strategy, and engagement.

Monstart with a team meeting to discuss priorities, review analytics, and plan the week's activity.

Throughout the week, you will be asked to focus on content creation, designing graphics to support key business projects. You will be relied upon to come up with ideas for engaging fresh visual content, in a style that appeals to our target audience, whilst elevating our brand and product propositions.

Feedback on the performance of assets should take centre stage as you interact with internal stakeholders.

You will be a subject‑matter expert on industry trends in your field. An important part of your role will be to predict when additional help is needed to meet your deadlines and ask for help from the wider Group Marketing Team before the workload becomes unmanageable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and design graphics for digital and print materials, including social media, websites, presentations, advertisements, flyers, brochures, and any other marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with marketing and the wider team to understand project requirements and deliver designs that align with brand guidelines.
  • Translate brand messaging and values into clear and effective visual communication.
  • Take ownership of projects from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Edit and retouch photos and images as needed.
  • Maintain and update internal asset libraries and design templates.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices.

What will you need to be successful?
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a related role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work across various media (please include a link with the application).
  • Excellent eye for detail, layout, typography, and colour.
  • Understanding of digital and print production processes.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
Advantageous qualifications
  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UI / UX principles and experience with tools like Figma or Sketch.
  • Familiarity with HTML / CSS is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
