Job summary

Sage invites recent graduates to join a two-year Graduate Software Engineer programme. You will contribute to developing and maintaining innovative software while receiving structured training and mentorship within a FTSE 100 listed software company.

You will work in an agile, hybrid team with three days per week in the Johannesburg office and collaborate with global colleagues to deliver impactful solutions that enable Sage’s business success.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates with tech passion and project work.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness and curiosity to continuously learn.
• Ability to debug and resolve software issues (C# preferred).
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Able to collaborate effectively in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software systems and services
• Participate in learning sessions to build technical and professional capabilities
• Apply creativity to solve real-world software challenges
• Document codebases, APIs, and related processes clearly
• Work within an agile, hybrid team environment (3 days/week in the Johannesburg office)
• Collaborate with global colleagues to deliver impactful solutions
