Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join its Vereeniging engineering team. You will contribute to the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems, gaining hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technology and mentorship from experienced engineers.

The role is office-based and offers exposure to diverse engineering projects, with training and development opportunities and a chance to contribute to manufacturing processes on-site.

Qualifications

• Recent degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of mechanical principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or AutoCAD is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and teamwork.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for an on-site role in Vereeniging.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
