Job description
What you\'ll be doing
  • Assist with process assessments, troubleshooting, and optimization of water and chemical treatment systems
  • Support project planning, scheduling, execution, and close-out activities
  • Collaborate with design, operations, and client teams to ensure solutions meet technical and site-specific requirements
  • Participate in commissioning, performance testing, and development of operational guidelines and manuals
  • Travel to site locations to perform audits, collect data, and support operators and clients
  • Assist with technical proposal development, design inputs, and costing for new business opportunities
  • Support regulatory compliance monitoring and environmental reporting
  • Assist with developing and delivering operator training and improvement plans
  • Ensure health and safety standards are followed, particularly on mining and industrial sites
What you\'ll need
  • BEng in Mechanical Engineering (completed) Mandatory
  • 0 - 3 years work experience (exposure to water treatment, industrial plant operations, mechanical systems, or process environments advantageous but not essential)
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid South African drivers license
  • Willingness to travel regularly to the Mpumalanga (Witbank) region
  • Exposure to or interest in project management principles
  • Site-based exposure (commissioning, optimization, or operations) advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Python or simulation tools beneficial
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a South African citizen
