What you\'ll be doing
- Assist with process assessments, troubleshooting, and optimization of water and chemical treatment systems
- Support project planning, scheduling, execution, and close-out activities
- Collaborate with design, operations, and client teams to ensure solutions meet technical and site-specific requirements
- Participate in commissioning, performance testing, and development of operational guidelines and manuals
- Travel to site locations to perform audits, collect data, and support operators and clients
- Assist with technical proposal development, design inputs, and costing for new business opportunities
- Support regulatory compliance monitoring and environmental reporting
- Assist with developing and delivering operator training and improvement plans
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed, particularly on mining and industrial sites
What you\'ll need
- BEng in Mechanical Engineering (completed) Mandatory
- 0 - 3 years work experience (exposure to water treatment, industrial plant operations, mechanical systems, or process environments advantageous but not essential)
- Own reliable vehicle and valid South African drivers license
- Willingness to travel regularly to the Mpumalanga (Witbank) region
- Exposure to or interest in project management principles
- Site-based exposure (commissioning, optimization, or operations) advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Python or simulation tools beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a South African citizen
