Placements24 is actively seeking a motivated Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our expanding engineering division in Rustenburg. This entry-level opportunity lets you apply academic knowledge to challenging mining and industrial projects under supervision, fostering growth and technical expertise.

You will design, develop, and maintain electrical systems, assist with testing and documentation, and collaborate with project teams to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety protocols.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and specification of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical installations.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and drawings.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards in all engineering activities.
• Support senior engineers in site inspections and feasibility studies.
