Job summary

Spane4all is seeking a Graduate Data Scientist in Gauteng to help develop Teraco's data analytics capability. You will design and build data pipelines, explore big data, and deploy AI models to generate actionable insights for business decisions.

You'll work with Python, R, and SQL, applying data analysis, ML concepts, and MLOps practices to manage model lifecycles and communicate findings through clear visualisations. This entry-level role offers growth in a data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in data science or related field.
• Experience with data, analysis and ML models using Python, R or similar.
• Experience with coding using Python (preferred) or similar.
• Experience with database querying using SQL.
• Experience with data engineering concepts.
• Experience with ML concepts and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines.
• Incorporate best practices of managing “big data” (high volume, high velocity, high variety).
• Build and deploy AI models.
• Incorporate best practices of “MLOps” for managing the lifecycle of models.
• Deliver actionable insights from data.
• Build insightful data visualisations to communicate findings effectively.
