Placements24 is seeking a vibrant Grade R Teacher to join its foundation phase team in East London. You will lay the groundwork for young learners, supporting early literacy and numeracy in a nurturing, play-based classroom that honours each child's development.

The role requires a relevant ECD or Foundation Phase qualification, experience with Grade R, and strong communication and nurturing skills. You will collaborate with colleagues and parents to support overall progress and inclusivity,

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in ECD or Foundation Phase teaching.
• Experience teaching Grade R or equivalent.
• Knowledge of play-based learning and early literacy/numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for Grade R.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom that encourages exploration.
