Our client in the Finance Industry is seeking a Governance Analyst to join their Team.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Audit business processes, user privileges, security, operational manuals, and approved data checks to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to governance standards
  • Support tracking and reporting of architectural compliance in projects and initiatives
  • Liaise with business owners and analysts to improve processes and provide input on standards, rules, and regulations
  • Prepare governance report, review and obtain approvals for submission
  • Manage databases, repositories, processes and documentation related to architecture governance
  • Assist in implementing architecture tools and frameworks while ensuring decisions comply with industry standards
  • Identify gaps in governance processes and recommend improvements
  • Provide advice on architecture principles and best practices for projects related to governance
  • Develop and review training materials, and design programs for governance-related needs
  • Act as the key contact for enterprise architecture governance, offering guidance and mentoring junior analysts
  • Analyse data and compile report
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric with Mathematics
  • Microsoft office
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or 3 year Diploma
  • LLB or Legal and/or Compliance
  • 2-5 years’ experience in this discipline
  • Basic experience in governance in process and data analysis
  • Basic understanding of Insurance industry and regulatory practices
