Placements24 is seeking a professional Goods Transport Driver for our logistics hub in Klerksdorp. You will operate medium-duty trucks, plan routes, and ensure on-time deliveries across the North West region.

The role requires a valid Code 10 license, a clean driving record, and experience in transporting goods. You will perform routine vehicle inspections, load and unload safely, maintain delivery records, and interact professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience transporting goods, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Proficient with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools.
• Ability to lift and handle goods up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Operate medium-duty trucks and vans safely and efficiently within designated delivery areas.
• Plan optimal routes for daily deliveries and pickups to maximize productivity and minimize transit time.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, reporting and addressing any maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure all goods are loaded, secured, and unloaded with care to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle performance.
• Interact professionally with customers and stakeholders at delivery points.
