Genesis Analytics invites applications for its Annual Graduate Intake, welcoming Young Professionals eager to tackle real-world problems across public, private, and donor sectors. Most participants are based at our hubs in Cape Town or Johannesburg, with opportunities to work across Africa and beyond.

You will benefit from a steep learning curve, structured L&D, mentoring, and exposure to AI-enabled consulting.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Economics, Applied Economics, PPE, Public Policy, International Development, Development Studies, or related quantitative/social science disciplines is strongly preferred.
• Strong ability to handle, clean, and interpret quantitative or qualitative data; familiarity with analytical software (Stata, R, Python, Excel) is advantageous.
• Comfort and curiosity in utilising modern AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude) to streamline research and workflows effectively.
• Strong English communication, storytelling, and writing skills; business proficiency in French or Portuguese is desirable for regional expansion.
