Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking an experienced tax advisor to provide guidance on complex transactions, restructures, and expansion projects across multiple jurisdictions. The role covers international tax, transfer pricing, VAT, and withholding tax, with oversight of cross-border tax matters and advisory partnerships.

The successful candidate will translate technical tax concepts into practical solutions, manage diverse stakeholders, and drive governance improvements.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of tax experience within a multinational, consulting, or multi-jurisdictional environment.
• Strong knowledge of international tax, transfer pricing, VAT, and withholding taxes.
• Experience managing cross-border tax matters and external advisory partners.
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate technical tax concepts into practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to operate independently in a specialist role.
• Exposure to African and/or Middle Eastern jurisdictions advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory support on transactions, restructures, tenders, and expansion projects.
• Advise on international tax, transfer pricing, VAT, withholding tax, and indirect tax matters.
• Assess cross-border transactions and identify tax risks and opportunities.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and in-country specialists.
• Oversee tax compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support transfer pricing policies, documentation, and intercompany arrangements.
• Review commercial contracts and provide tax guidance before implementation.
• Assist with tax reporting, audits, risk management, and tax authority engagements.
• Partner with finance, legal, and executive stakeholders across the business.
• Drive improvements in tax governance, controls, and processes.
