Job summary

Super Group in Cape Town is seeking a Junior Tax Reporting Specialist to support international tax reporting, consolidation, and Pillar Two compliance.

You will work with the International Tax and Reporting Specialist, gather data from ERP systems, prepare schedules, and assist with SOX controls and audits. A Finance-related degree and 2+ years in tax accounting are preferred; exposure to IFRS IAS12 and Thomson Reuters Orbitax/OTP is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Honours degree in Tax will be advantageous.
• CA(SA)/CPA/CTA, or equivalent will be advantageous / working towards it.
• 2+ years’ experience in tax accounting or tax reporting.
• Experience in multinational and listed company environments incl Europe/UK/NZ/Canada/Africa.
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting and reporting per IFRS IAS12.
• Knowledge of tax software Thomson Reuters Orbitax and OTP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entity- and group-level tax consolidation schedules.
• Collect and consolidate current tax, deferred tax data across entities.
• Support reconciliation of tax balances to the group consolidation system.
• Assist with period-end tax reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Provide data for tax provisions and financial statement disclosures.
• Assist with audits and internal control evidence.
