Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Process Optimization Engineer to join a globally distributed team. The role focuses on enhancing efficiency, safety, and sustainability of chemical operations from a remote location, leveraging data analytics, modeling, and simulation tools.

You will identify bottlenecks, propose improvements, and implement solutions across plant sites, while communicating effectively with cross-functional teams in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of process engineering experience focused on optimization and data analysis.
• Proficient with process simulation tools (Aspen Plus, ChemCAD) and data analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plant data to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Develop strategies to improve yields, reduce energy use and waste.
• Use simulation tools to test and validate improvements.
• Provide remote technical support to plant operations globally.
• Prepare reports and presentations on optimization outcomes.
• Stay updated on advances in process technology and optimization.
